The beautiful thing about the design of the Greenstalk is that you water from the top and every pocket of every tier is watered automatically. There are even graduated markings in the top water reservoir to show you exactly how much water is needed based on how many tiers you are watering.
Each tier contains 6 pockets. I have the 5 tier tower and the mover (which is a wheeled base). I had strawberries in the bottom three tiers that did not make it through our sub zero temps this winter. But, I’ve recently replaced those….and everything is looking great. I even have a tiny patio tomato in one pocket. I’ve relocated my tower to my back patio, which allows me to harvest herbs as needed in the kitchen, and makes a beautiful piece of art. Looking out my kitchen window and seeing beautiful herbs and flowers makes me happy!
